Editorial Photography – Lee Mears
This week saw me in Bath to photograph ex Bath and England rugby hooker come Jika Jika owner, Lee Mears. The images will be used in an article for the soon to be released Real Bath magazine.
The shoot was at Lee’s very own Jika Jika coffee Shop located in Brunel Square in Bath. I arrived a little early to take some detail shots and enjoy a superb Jika Jika coffee. Then it was down to business.
Lee was being interviewed by Lizzie West from BBC West. As they chatted about rugby, coffee and life in general, I worked away in the background capturing Lee and the atmosphere. I used a couple of lens choices but it was my nifty fifty that worked best in the given space. Overall it was a great shoot. Both Lee and Lizzie were lovely, as was the coffee. Would recommend you try it for yourself, if you’re in the area. Check out the article in the Autumn issue of Real Bath out soon.
