Bath Wedding Videographer
since 2012
One person. One story. Photography + Film.
Looking for a Bath wedding videographer but don’t want your wedding day to feel like a film production?
I create relaxed, natural wedding films for couples getting married in Bath, capturing the movement, atmosphere, voices and little moments that photographs can’t quite tell on their own.
My approach to wedding videography is deliberately unobtrusive. No big production crew, no constant direction and no feeling like your wedding has been taken over by cameras.
I’m based just outside Bath and regularly photograph and film weddings throughout the city, from intimate ceremonies at the Guildhall and Roman Baths to celebrations at venues including The Royal Crescent Hotel, Temple of Minerva and Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel.
The aim is simple: you enjoy your wedding, while I capture the story naturally as it unfolds.
Wedding Videography Without the Big Production
You might love the idea of having a wedding film, but not the idea of adding a large film crew, lots of equipment or constant direction to your wedding day.
That’s why my approach to wedding films is deliberately simple and unobtrusive.
Alongside photography, I capture natural video throughout the day, bringing those moments together into a beautifully edited wedding highlight film.
There’s no big production crew and no constant direction.
Just one familiar face quietly documenting everything as it naturally unfolds.

What Is a Hybrid Wedding Highlight Film?
Hybrid wedding coverage means I capture both photography and video during your wedding day.
With my current hybrid packages, your photographs remain the priority, but alongside them I capture video clips of the moments where movement, sound and atmosphere add something photographs can’t.
That could be the excitement while you’re getting ready, the moment you walk down the aisle, confetti flying through the air, laughter during the speeches or everyone finally letting loose on the dance floor.
I then edit these clips together into a 3–5 minute highlight film that tells the story of your wedding.
It’s not about recording every minute.
It’s about capturing how your wedding felt.

Wedding Videographer or Hybrid Wedding Film?
A hybrid highlight film isn’t intended to replace traditional full-day wedding videography.
If you want your entire ceremony and speeches recorded from multiple cameras, with dedicated audio and a much longer finished film, I’d recommend booking a specialist wedding videographer.
My hybrid approach is different.
It’s for couples who want their photography to remain the priority, but would also love a professionally edited film that captures the movement, emotion and atmosphere of the day.
Traditional wedding videography
- A dedicated videographer
- Video is the primary focus
- Often longer-form films
- Multiple cameras and additional equipment
- A separate photographer is normally required
My hybrid photography & film
- One photographer and filmmaker
- Photography remains the priority
- A 3–5 minute highlight film
- Minimal, unobtrusive equipment
- No additional videographer following you around
For many couples, it’s the perfect middle ground between wedding photography and full-day videography.
Wedding Videography Across Bath
I photograph and film weddings throughout Bath and the surrounding area, from intimate city-centre ceremonies to larger celebrations at hotels, historic venues and countryside wedding venues just outside the city.
I’ve worked at many of Bath’s best-known wedding venues, including The Roman Baths, Guildhall Bath, Temple of Minerva, The Royal Crescent Hotel, Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel and St Michael’s Without.
Bath is particularly brilliant for wedding films because so much of the city becomes part of the story. Georgian streets, historic architecture, gardens and some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks are often only a short walk from your ceremony.
Wherever I’m working, my approach remains the same: relaxed, natural and unobtrusive, capturing the atmosphere of your wedding without making you feel like you’re constantly being filmed.
Bath Wedding Highlight Films
Wedding days go ridiculously quickly.
There are moments you’ll remember forever and others you’ll barely realise happened until you see them afterwards.
That’s one of the things I love about adding film to photography.
Your photographs freeze those moments, while film gives you the movement, atmosphere, laughter and little interactions happening around them.
A short highlight film lets you experience that feeling again without having to sit through hours of footage.
Here are a few weddings I’ve photographed and filmed, including celebrations at some of my favourite Bath wedding venues, so you can get a feel for how my approach works in real life.
One of the biggest advantages of my hybrid approach is simplicity.
You don’t need to coordinate a separate photographer and videographer or have two people working around you throughout the day.
It’s just me.
I’ll photograph the moments that deserve to be frozen in time, while capturing film where movement, sound and atmosphere help tell the story.
That means less equipment, fewer people and a much more relaxed experience.

Highlight Film

Because I’m already there photographing your wedding, I can capture the film alongside your photography rather than requiring a completely separate videography team.
The length of your highlight film depends on the amount of wedding photography coverage you book, with shorter coverage resulting in a 1–2 minute highlight film and longer coverage allowing for a 3–5 minute film.
Whatever the length, the aim is the same: to capture the moments, atmosphere, movement and emotion that bring your wedding day back to life.
Here’s why couples love including a highlight film
One person, two services.
You get beautiful photography and meaningful video footage without the price or presence of a full film team. No extra people, no extra kit, no stress.
Completely unobtrusive.
I film with a small, lightweight camera, with no tripods or bulky equipment getting in the way of your guests or the moments happening around you.
Ceremony audio & speech snippets where possible.
I’ll do my best to capture real audio from your ceremony and short clips from the speeches, adding even more emotion and authenticity to your film.
Beautiful, licensed music.
Your highlight film is edited to professionally licensed music that complements the mood and storytelling.
Photography and film captured together.
Because I’m already there photographing your wedding, I can capture video naturally throughout the day without bringing along a separate videography team.
Drone footage where possible.
Weather, location and permissions allowing, I can include aerial footage to give you another perspective of your venue and surroundings.
This is the perfect choice for couples who want the emotion of video without the price tag or presence of a full videography team. Your highlight film is a beautiful, effortless way to relive your wedding day through movement, sound and feeling.
